Of interest:

1) I think this was the episode where we worked out what we were doing. Pacing, sound design and delivery all started to fall into place, we found the balance between comedy and drama, and the actors all seemed to hit their stride at the same time and really got to grips with the characters.

2) A few years earlier, Moutoa Gardens in the city of Wanganui had been occupied by Maori protesters for 79 days in a very prominent land dispute case.

3) Koestler Industries, Thompson's employer, is named after Arthur Koestler, author of The Ghost in the Machine. There's a clue there...
