Of interest:
1) Bigby is played by Carl Bland. Carl also played the role of Bishop, a tough guy cat in Ashley's Worlds, the 'cartoon for radio' series we made before Claybourne.
2) It's probably worth mentioning that we picked a bunch of actors that we really wanted to work with, and then wrote the story so that we could use them to play characters that would suit. Sort of the opposite of casting.
3) Kawakawa's a real place. There are a few mentioned in the series. Claybourne's not, but it's just down the road and along the coast all the same. The idea of Kawakawa being 'the big town' is a bit of a joke, and underlines just how small Claybourne is. It's big enough to have a police station, but only just.
